Journal Entry 1: Day 7.

Dear Journal:

Oh boy. This is going to be weird. Explaining this will probably get someone to try to send me to the loony bin. But these occurrences are happening too often to not keep track of this. 

So, this started a week ago. Normally, I'm not 100% good looking. Don't get me wrong, I got a good face, and I guess I'm attractive enough to have a girlfriend. But here's the thing. One week ago to the day, I woke up with a few scars on my face; not bloody scars but they looked like they had been there for years. The scars themselves were kind of cool looking: I had a scar on my left eye, like that character Kakashi Hatake from Naruto, and there was also an X shaped scar on my left cheek like Kenshin Himura from Rurouni Kenshin. Also, the entirety of the acne on my face was nowhere to be found. I was freaking out at the time, but when I talked with my mom about it, she looked at me like I was a moron; she said that I had had those scars for years. I don't get it, I know I had never done anything to get them, but as my mom said what she did, memories flooded into my head. A bad day in the gym during school one day, not stopping in time during a soccer match. But I never had those memories before I woke up that morning, so I began to wonder if I was just a nutcase, which was likely because for all intents and purposes, I was one, but me being "crazy" had never stumbled into actual insanity. 

However, that was only the first day. Just today, I woke up with my glasses and contact lenses missing. Normally, this would have been problem enough, but then there was a new wrinkle; as I blinked my eyes, I realized that my vision was perfect, as if I had never had or needed them. Again, when I asked my mother she told me I had never needed glasses, and that I was one of the few in my family that didn't need them. And again, my memories seemed to change to compensate. What's going on? Why is this happening to me?
